Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to be based in our New York Metro office.
The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for the following items:
Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for a team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost effective work by others
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects
Uses expertise in all steps of completing the discipline component of PS&E package
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings
Prepares technical specification sections
Provides input to the development of the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements :
BS in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering or related discipline and six (6) or more years related experience in structural design of buildings and structures or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
Must have ETABS, SAP, SAFE & AutoCAD, experience to qualify for this position
PE License in Civil/Structural engineering is required
Valid Drivers License is required with a good driving record
Preferred Qualifications :
Experienced in structural analysis modeling and design using finite element analysis method
Specific software experience in RAM Structural, and, TEDDS, Mathcad, SpecsIntact, spColumn, spBeam, spWall, Enercalc
Microstation & Revit experience are highly desirable
Masters in Structural Engineering
10+ years experience preferred

Offered rate of compensation (New York locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $143,000
