Job Summary

  • Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.

  • Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.

  • Consistently delivers profit margins planned.

  • Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.

  • Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).

  • Manages more complex clients and projects.

  • Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.

  • Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.

  • Supervises and directs Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s of Science degree in engineering

  • 10+ years’ experience in municipal infrastructure market

  • Licensed PE in at least Delaware and Pennsylvania

  • Demonstrated experience in business development

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex infrastructure projects in excess of $1M

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience leading a group of>20 diverse staff with varying skill sets (i.e. planners, engineers, construction managers and scientists)

  • Experience with business and contractual agreements

  • Ability to work independently, strong interpersonal, negotiating, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Ability to market AECOM services directly to potential clients

  • Proficient in common desktop packages, i.e. Word, Excel, MS Project, SalesForce

  • Motivated, team player, independent, organized

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree(s) in Water /Wastewater Engineering

  • Demonstrated experience in development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), scheduling and schedule analysis, cost estimating and cost control, budget development, reporting and record/document control
