Job Summary
Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
Manages more complex clients and projects.
Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
Supervises and directs Project Managers with multiple projects or program of projects.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s of Science degree in engineering
10+ years’ experience in municipal infrastructure market
Licensed PE in at least Delaware and Pennsylvania
Demonstrated experience in business development
Demonstrated experience in managing complex infrastructure projects in excess of $1M
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience leading a group of>20 diverse staff with varying skill sets (i.e. planners, engineers, construction managers and scientists)
Experience with business and contractual agreements
Ability to work independently, strong interpersonal, negotiating, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to market AECOM services directly to potential clients
Proficient in common desktop packages, i.e. Word, Excel, MS Project, SalesForce
Motivated, team player, independent, organized
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree(s) in Water /Wastewater Engineering
Demonstrated experience in development of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), scheduling and schedule analysis, cost estimating and cost control, budget development, reporting and record/document control
