Purpose and Scope:

Perform in the Cybersecurity Compliance Liaison/Analyst role to ensure assigned Department of Navy/DoD systems/Enclaves/Networks have met required metrics to maintain audit/inspection readiness.

Essential Responsibilities:

Establishes and maintains comprehensive process for assessment of cybersecurity posture, evaluation, and recommendation of measures to achieve continual improvement of cyber readiness.

Tracks compliance and completion of CTOs, FRAGOs, TASKORDs, and STIGs

Support reporting functions

Focused on continual improvement of organizational cybersecurity posture

Support Information System Security Engineering efforts

Support ISO standardization and Quality inspections

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

BA/BS in Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related discipline plus 4 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, at least 5 years of related experience. Five (5) years’ experience in the C&A functional area defining or evaluating computer security requirements for applications or networks. Experience developing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data. Demonstrated proficiency with ACAS and HBSS. Demonstrated proficiency with VRAM. Demonstrated proficiency with mitigation strategies. Must have CompTIA Security+. Possess and maintain a Secret security clearance. Possess a valid state issued driver’s license.

Minimum Position-Specific Training Required:

Familiarity with DoD CCRI & DON CSI

OS Certification/Approved Training completed within 180 days of hire

Experience with assessment, mitigation, and closure of network vulnerabilities

Experience with vulnerability management within VRAM

Possession of excellent customer service and organization skills

Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
