Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an

Electronic Warfare WDC Implementation Developer to support our Navy Information Warfare Development Center (NIWDC) team in the

Norfolk-Suffolk, VA region.

This position will support the Electronic Warfare Mission Area Department, a division of the NIWDC. The Electronic Warfare WDC Implementation Developer will apply a thorough knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements detailed in applicable Department of Navy policy, (e.g., NWP 3-51, NTTP 3-13.3 NTTP 3-13.14, ESMO TACMEMO 3-15.1.15). As an Electronic Warfare SME, the Electronic Warfare WDC Developer must be familiar with the application of all aspects of Electronic Warfare Planning applicable planning and coordination of spectrum dependent systems and networks in support of Fleet operations.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience).

  • Must have a minimum of 9 years of Fleet/Information Warfare experience.

  • Must have experience/knowledge in general doctrine development to include CONOPS development, Navy and Joint concept development and experimentation, Navy C5I capabilities, warfighting areas, and organization/planning/communication skills to support all facets of NAVIFOR’s/IWDC’s mission

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Must have an active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.

  • Excellent communication, inter personal, organizational and analytical skills are necessary.

  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other standard integrated software applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience equivalent to a US Navy shipboard division officer (0-3/0-4), chief petty officer (E-7/8), or chief warrant officer (CWO 3/4) with Navy or Joint Staff experience providing Electronic Warfare support.

  • A deep-seated knowledge and understanding of applicable technical concepts and practices in order to support Electronic Warfare readiness across the DOTMPLF (Doctrine, Training, Materiel, Personnel, Leadership, Facilities).

  • URL Designator 11XX, 112X, 131X, 132X, 181X, 612X, 632X, 681X, 682X, 781X

  • Electronic Warfare Information Warfare basic Course (IWBC)

  • Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) School


  • CTT A/F School, Watch Station PQS/JQR

  • JPME I or II graduate, Enlisted Warfare Specialist

  • Ten years of progressively responsible experience directly related to Electronic Warfare management

  • Three years of operational experience as an Electronic Warfare Officer or senior enlisted (E7/8) billet

  • A graduation certificate from a Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) School (Aviation, Surface, Submarine and or CTT/AW A/F Schools

  • Personnel (Officer/Enlisted) who has successfully completed a tour in an Electronic Warfare sea/shore billet which provides division officer experience or completed a tour in an Electronic Warfare Officer or Information Operations Planner billet.

  • Two years of experience in a Electronic Warfare or related billet and possess the Additional Qualification Designators (BI1, Bl2).
