Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a material expediter to provide warehouse support to our NAVSEA PMS-435 customer. The position will be located at AECOM, Robin Hood Road Facility, Norfolk, VA.

Essential Responsibilities :

  1. Provide material receipt, inspection, packing crating, handling, and shipping support for electronic equipment

  2. Maintain inventory of all Government Owned Material and Sponsor Owned material.

  3. Manage acquisition kits for installations, OBRP’s and INCO distribution

  4. Update and maintain database files as necessary

  5. Complete the required shipping documentation necessary to insure proper accountability

  6. Assist with weekly, ,monthly, annual inventory audits

  7. Assist with all other assigned tasks

Minimum Requirements

  • Specialized Experience: Two (2) years full time experience handling delicate electronic and electrical equipment and components. Must be trained and experienced in the identification of Electro-Static Discharge Sensitive (ESDS) equipment and components

  • General Experience: Four (4) years full-time experience in location and moving equipment and material between work sites according to predetermined schedules and priorities, and keeps related shipping schedules, shipping/receiving records, and inventory records

  • Good written and spoken communication and analytical skills.

  • Secret Security clearance is required.

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Submarine Logistics, Repair Parts Petty Officer (RPPO) experience supporting forward end electronic equipment

  • Microsoft Office Suite
