Job Description

AECOM has a position available in Charlotte, NC for a Digital Project Manager to join our Transportation Business line.

The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Plans and directs the practice for an operational unit, department, or specialty.

  • Ensures, directly and through subordinates, that projects are completed on time and to company standards.

  • Provides periodic progress reports to senior management.

  • This is a higher-level manager role; position requires extensive progressive experience.

  • Has financial and project management responsibilities for the project.

  • Responsible for the creation of work plans and task definitions, oversees data collection and develops solutions to business/client problems with a focus on financial analysis and improvement.

  • Provides solutions to business/client challenges developed from a foundation of understanding or analysis of business practices and goals.

  • Leads/mentors team of consultants and/or other staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Relevant experience must include two or more of the following: survey/SUE, Scan to BIM, BIM Modeling and/or Asset Management projects

  • Demonstrated experience with cost/schedule/deliverable quality assurance and resource management allocated to projects

  • Previous relevant Project Management experience

  • Valid State Identification to access Client Facilities

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems or similar preferred

  • Experience with Smartsheet for Project and Resource Management

  • Obtain AECOM PM Certification within first year of employment

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $106,800.34 - $145,000.00.
