Job Summary

This is a contingency posting depending upon successful award of the Department of State Global Security Engineering &Supply Chain contract.

Purpose and Scope:

Supervises and coordinates activities of call center employees.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.

  • Issues written and oral instructions.

  • Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

  • Maintains harmony among workers.

  • Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.

  • Adjusts errors and complaints.

  • Visits job sites to insure all safety precautions are being implemented.

  • Reviews all work order, labor time sheets and material requests for accuracy before submitting to work control for action.

  • Perform other related or associated duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and seven years of relevant work experience with at least three years in a supervisory role in a customer service center; including prior customer service experience and data entry skills, and proficiency with word-processing, spread-sheet, and database software.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
