Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Office Engineer - Highway & Bridge Projects to be based in Oakland, CA .
Job Summary/Responsibilities
Office Engineer will be responsible for the documentation and processing of change orders, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, transmittals, and other transportation-related project documentation.
Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff.
Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications.
General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Viewed as competent in all areas.
May oversee work of junior-level technicians.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:•
Experience in Transportation Construction on large scale projects as Office Engineer
Experience with other transportation-related project documentation such as documentation and processing of change orders, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, transmittals
EIT is desired

Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $100,945.50 to $186,749.18
