Job Summary

Rust Constructors Inc., an AECOM Company, is seeking a Senior Clerk to be based in our Odessa, Texas location.

Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:

  • Compiles statistical data for the preparation of reports, schedules and checklists.

  • Checks and verifies documents (new hire paper work, district documents/reports, etc.).

  • Maintains files and records.

  • Handles mail and telephone calls.

  • Coordinates drug screen.

  • Other administrative tasks.

  • Compiles statistical data for the preparation of reports, schedules and checklists.

  • Checks and verifies documents (bills, receipts, invoices, etc.).

  • Maintains files and records.

  • Handles mail and telephone calls.

  • Operates general business machines such as calculator, photocopier, typewriter and similar machines.

  • May perform miscellaneous typing and data entry functions utilizing CRT terminals or keypunch equipment.

Minimum Requirements


  • None


  • 2 years of related work experience

  • Business education may substitute for one of experience.

  • Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook and Excel

Preferred Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Bilingual in Spanish

  • Previous experience working in an employment or human resources department

  • General understanding of Human Resources o Completion process for Employment Eligibility Form, I-9 o New Hire and Re-Hire Employment Onboarding paper work

Additional Information:

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Ability to travel on occasion within region to support new hire onboarding and/or orientation
