Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Intern for employment in the Omaha, NE office. This position is expected to begin in August 2023

The responsibilities of this internship include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in preparing design drawings, specifications, and visual aids

  • Collect and enter data, and apply technical principles and theories to assist in interpreting and analyzing data

  • Compare investigation findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to assess compliance, draft reports documenting results and presenting findings

  • Miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis

  • Help organize, plan, and track field efforts

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering, or related STEM field of study

  • Completion of second year of qualified study

Preferred Qualifications

  • Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software

  • OSHA HAZWOPER 40 Hour training

  • GIS and/or CAD skills
