AECOM Knowledge Management Coordinator - Document Specialist in Omaha, Nebraska

AECOM is seeking a Knowledge Management Coordinator - Document Specialist to be based in either Omaha, Nebraska or can sit remote / virtual .

Job Description:

This position will coordinate with other more specialized team members to provide support as needed and bridge the gaps between the various specialties currently active within the Knowledge Management team. This role will provide direct client support, troubleshooting, process development, solution development, and other administrator level tasks within the client’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) which can include:

  • Bulk and individual documentation update and new document migration

  • Bulk and individual metadata update both benign and significant

  • Creation and maintenance of metadata values supporting client’s EDMS and related external tools

  • Access support within the client’s EDMS and related external spaces

In this role, you will:

  • Provide document management and project controls support which includes the receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval and distribution of both classified and unclassified electronic, paper and other media project data and documents according to company policy, and proper procedures for the projects.

  • Manage the set up and maintenance of document control / records management for multiple projects and Project Managers.

  • Use spreadsheet-based formula development

  • Provide database maintenance and support

  • Compile project status reporting

  • Research existing documentation and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure that all local practices and activities comply with company policies and procedures.

  • Work under general supervision.

  • Participate with other team members to achieve common goals.

  • Troubleshoot problems of low complexity and recommend appropriate action.

  • Effectively contribute to team goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets

  • Experience in data formula and knowledge of query

  • Experience in document migration

Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL experience is a plus

Additional Information:

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

  • Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $20.30/hr. - $35.52/hr.(non-exempt).
