The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Provide support to the project team for design and implementation of assigned projects; support implementation of design intent as a member of the project design team
Prepare Facility/Attraction base information documentation (e.g. existing condition descriptions)
Provide design documentation in the form of graphic illustration, imagery boards, color renderings, and research and documentation on assigned projects
Perform various basic technical tasks and documentation, including base sheets, construction details, plans/sections/elevations, design drafting, 3D visualization, and general project coordination
Develop varied facility design project work at all stages of assigned projects from concept, feasibility or schematic design through the preparation of construction documentation in accordance with established departmental and divisional quality standards
Ensure that the design intent is achieved by successfully integrating facility design with allied disciplines and components of the development such as: infrastructure, area development, grading/drainage, lighting, graphics, structural and MEP engineering, etc.
Prepare specific deliverables including, but not limited to: base sheets, hardscape, planting designs, visual intrusion studies, material schedules, etc. Ensures adherence to department/divisional Standards of Practice
Provide expertise & knowledge the project lead architect/Facility Designer under the leadership of the design manager, in collaboration with all disciplines, Creative, Show/Ride, Design & Production and Operating partners
Provide support to project lead and Project Facility Designer for design and implementation aspects of assigned projects
Support implementation of project goals/objectives through problem solving and development of design solutions; ensures adherence to department/divisional Standards of Practice
Reviews change order modification requests for related to design for projects or portions of larger projects
Monitors design schedule and advises management of potential delays or issues
Develops working conduit of communication between an owner and the design team
Address and resolves problems and assures the final success of a construction project
Reads and interprets program requirements, architectural and engineering drawings, and project schedules
Works independently on assigned duties
3+ years of relevant experience
Outstanding oral communication, written and presentation skills
Participate in preparing winning proposals
Must be detail oriented, thorough, well organized and effectively manage time
Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCad and Adobe Creative Suite. Sketchup, Rhinoceros, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Due to nature of the work U.S Citizenship is required
