AECOM Entry Level Environmental Engineer in Orange, California
AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Geologist/Environmental Scientist to be based in Orange or Long Beach, CA offices to support remediation system operations, soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn new skills and methods on challenging field and office assignments in a collaborative team environment.
This position is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2022.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting environmental field work, including collecting remediation system data, soil and groundwater sampling, fluid level gauging and oversight of subcontractors.
Produce accurate and complete documentation of operation, inspections and compliance
Field document preparation, field data collection, processing and interpretation.
Supporting office tasks, including data analysis and report preparation.
Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance
Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
HAZWOPER 40 Hr Training
Master’s Degree is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to Health and Safety
Knowledge of environmental sampling practices
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
