Job Summary/Responsibilities

  • As part of the DCS Americas marketing team, supports proposals to assist a business line (BL) or Regional marketing team with priority pursuits in support of strategic growth and winning work.

  • Assist the Proposal Manager with coordination for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan and production.

  • Liaises with appropriate/relevant BL team, operations, technical, and business development professionals to support or develop marketing information (including but not limited to BL case studies/project sheets and capabilities summaries).

  • Provides support for small to medium proposal/LOIs/SOQs for private/public/Federal clients, including schedule, templates, and production, and demonstrates a clear understanding of compliance.

  • Writing and editing of resumes, past performance, and other section of proposals.

  • Able to develop compliance matrices and create reasonable, agreed-upon schedule for content development, production and delivery.

  • Participates in pre-RFP capture/ proposal planning, to develop gain institutional knowledge for creating win messaging and discriminators in deliverables.

  • Participates in Pink and Red team reviews to build institutional knowledge and may coordinate proposal review meetings and ensure compliance with client requirements.

  • Able to support Go /No Go and green light analysis conversations and maintain data system content as needed

  • Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.

  • May support capture teams with pre-RFP proposal planning and helps develop and apply the win plan, themes, and discriminators in marketing deliverables.

  • Contributes to and supports the writing and/or editing and/or formatting of resumes and past performance sections for proposals.

  • Reviews debriefs and client feedback on proposals to ensure and demonstrate continuous improvement.

  • Updates and maintains status of assigned pursuits in CRM

  • Understand and follows company quality procedures and approval processes (legal, contracts, DOA, signatory) under supervision of others

  • Supports special projects, as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Due to the nature of this work, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of related proposal experience

  • Strong writing and/or editing skills (ie marketing writing, proposal writing, technical writing, copywriting, etc)

  • Experience with SF330 proposals or federal proposals
