AECOM is seeking a Corporate Engagement Manager to be based in Orlando, Florida.
The Corporate Engagement Manager leads worksite-based outreach efforts, building and maintaining partnerships with employer partners within the 9-county area of the Florida Department of Transportation’s District 5 (Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia). The region’s Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program, reThink Your Commute, aims to bring together businesses and employees to explore the shared benefits of carpooling, vanpooling, transit, biking, walking, and telecommuting. By connecting commuters with alternatives to driving alone, the program strengthens Central Florida’s quality of life by decreasing traffic congestion, improving air quality, conserving natural resources, and helping people save money. You will assist employers with the development and implementation of worksite-specific commuter options programs that reduce drive-alone travel among employees. You will work in a fast-paced environment with daily interaction with the client and employer contacts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performs a range of outreach tasks aimed at enhancing opportunities for individual travelers and commuters to utilize non-drive-alone transportation options, including carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, bicycling, walking, and teleworking.
Develop, promote, and/or implement a range of worksite programs aimed at improving business operations and increasing non-drive alone mode use.
There will be a balance of required in-office, remote work, and fieldwork, including traveling to various employer locations to conduct outreach activities and client meetings.
Create new and manage existing relationships with regional employers, community partners, and stakeholders.
Attend meetings, seek networking opportunities, present to groups including C-suite executives at targeted employer sites.
Create and maintain a pipeline of leads for new partnerships through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other means.
Conduct worksite assessments and plans to guide the development and implementation of commuter programming (e.g. carpool, pre-tax transit benefits, telework, bicycle programs, commute incentives).
Deepen existing employer partnerships through frequent contact and follow-up meetings, tracking program implementation, and employee participation.
Increase participation rates and program awareness among employees at partner locations.
Coordinate and attend employer, stakeholder, and community-based events to promote employer/commute outreach programs and services.
Serve as a transportation resource for worksite partners and organizations.
Generate measurable results from employer or commuter participation in transportation-related modal promotions and incentive programs.
Exceed monthly/quarterly/annual performance metrics.
Assists with reporting on program progress for monthly/quarterly reports, including developing written summaries of activities underway in the business community.
Participates in Statewide project events which help to further the program’s goals.
Track employer relationships and activities over time, by utilizing SalesForce.com.
Devise new approaches to challenges encountered.
Bachelor’s degree in management, business, communication, marketing, public relations, or related field and four (4) plus years of leading and directing sales or outreach or public engagement campaigns or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience in sales and account management
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft OS, and G Suite
Some heavy lifting (<30 lbs) may be required
Must have a valid driver’s license
Personal determination to improve the Central Florida community and quality of life for its residents
An energetic and articulate individual who has the communication skills and persuasiveness necessary to influence, motivate, and inform
Proven track record meeting job performance metrics
Strong sales and account management skills
Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team; manage multiple assignments
Interact effectively with employees and clients at all levels
Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills and experience in handling multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner
