Job Description
AECOM is expanding its dynamic and innovative aviation planning team in North America and is looking for an VP Aviation Planning & Advisory Program Manager to help grow AECOM’s aviation planning and advisory business, working within our Transportation Business Line. This role can be located out of any AECOM office in the US, however preference is for Northeast or Mid-Atlantic office locations.
This position will:
Lead, manage, and oversee teams that support aviation planning and airport advisory tasks and programs.
Act as senior project manager, technical resource, and/or QA/QC Discipline Lead.
Potential to be an extension of staff for airport clients.
Manage and mentor staff, including developing performance reviews, recommend promotions, develop career development plans.
Leverage experience and best practices working with airports across the country.
Assist airports in strategic decision-making, alignment of capital improvement plans, and "right-sizing" plans.
Support airports in developing finance plans for capital projects and managing the cost throughout the project lifecycle.
Contribute to the development of our strategic growth plan of the practice with a focus on advisory services and identify new, innovative, and emerging markets and service offerings throughout the U.S.
Conduct business development to secure new clients and projects. This includes identifying and tracking pursuits and participating in and/or leading proposals.
Partner with and provide high-quality technical advice to clients on airport development matters and identify innovative solutions to solve real-world challenges.
Work collaboratively with our other business lines to broaden our service offerings and expand our market reach.
Retain and manage relationships with existing clients and external colleagues and stakeholders.
Provide thought leadership ideas internally and externally.

AECOM's Aviation Planning and Advisory Business advises owners on capital improvement programs on
management issues related to engineering, planning, finance and construction. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS + 12 Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.
Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
Preferred Qualifications
Has earned Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) from the American Association of Airport Executive (AAAE)
15+ years experience in a senior level executive role at an airport, or advisory firm serving executives at airports, or a combination of both.

This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in-office work in an AECOM office. The selected candidate must be available to work in an AECOM office on a scheduled basis.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $200,000.00 - $265,000.00.
