Looking for a motivated senior planner to manage planning efforts in western PA, and PA in general. Significant planning projects are advertised in the Pittsburgh region and we need local resources to better position the firm to win and execute planning work.
The candidate is expected to engage in client relationship-building efforts and lead business development efforts in the Southwestern PA region.
Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments that are more complex than those handled by a Junior Planner position. The focus will be on leading and executing comprehensive multimodal planning studies, urban planning, transportation planning, corridor studies, master planning, Planning, and Environmental Linkage (PEL) studies, etc.
The candidate is expected to cross-collaborate internally among supporting disciplines such as Traffic Engineering/ITS.

- BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
The candidate should be knowledgeable about Southwestern PA regions. Experience with SPC, Allegheny County, and the City of Pittsburgh.
Prior business development experience in Southwestern PA is preferred for this “seller-doer” position.
