AECOM MIS Senior Project Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking an MIS Senior Project Manager. This is a telecommuting position with flexible geography, this role would require travel to client meetings up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing large and complex EHS Management Information System projects including working with the client, their IT and business entities, software partners and project team.

  • Leading technical teams responsible for development, implementation, testing and delivery of EHS MIS systems.

  • Proficient with complex configuration across multiple modules of one solution and/or multiple vendor product suites (Enablon, Cority, Intelex, Sphera Solutions, EtQ, etc.)

  • Coordinate requirements gathering and develop project plans.

  • Develop and manage project schedule, budget, and risk registry.

  • Solve medium to highly technical and/or complex problems on multiple projects while providing leadership support to internal staff.

  • Assist with the transfer of knowledge of technical skills.

  • Capable of managing small, medium, and large projects of varying complexity.

  • Serve as an EHS MIS subject matter expert within the organization.

  • Provide mentoring to less senior EHS MIS staff.

  • Lead proposal writing efforts.

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education

  • Experience with EHS MIS software application deployment such as Enablon, Intelex, Cority, Sphera Solutions, EtQ, etc.

  • Track record demonstrating EHS MIS project management experience

  • Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is Required

  • Valid U.S. Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

  • Business Analyst Experience and/or Certification.

  • Business Development/Client care experience.

  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Experience with MS SharePoint, MS Visio, and MS Projects.

  • Project Management Certification (PMP or similar).
