AECOM is growing its already well established K-12 Education Program Management team. We are looking for a seasoned program manager with demonstrated success leading high-profile K-12 capital improvement programs, preferably in the US Mid-Atlantic and Mid-South states. The successful candidate will join the leadership team in developing a new business opportunity, leading the proposal and then service as the full-time program executive leading our team that will be seconded with the K-12 school facilities capital improvement team. There are several states and large school districts with new bond programs expected in the upcoming year, and we are looking for candidates to lead these specific opportunities, and then serve full-time as the program leader after successfully winning the new work, and collaborating with peers that are already leading major K-12 programs for AECOM across the US to share and leverage lessons learned across the market for the benefit of all AECOM K-12 clients. Ultimately the position will be located in the school district where the candidate has successfully won a major new program, this may be anywhere in the Southeastern United States from Pennsylvania to Florida. Some key attributes to keep in mind when applying:
Routinely resolves difficult issues with significant financial impact.
Provides primary consulting services to clients of various sizes.
Interacts with senior government or public officials and/or executive level clients on significant program matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Assesses and manages risk on behalf of the client.
Provides oversight and direction to AECOM PMs and other staff, client staff and subcontractors.
Mentors deputy program managers.
Requires project and client management experience including management of multiple projects of significant scope and complexity, from CIP planning through construction close-out and commissioning.
BA/BS + 12 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Education K-12 experience within NC or GA market
