AECOM Stormwater Engineer / Project Manager in Raleigh, North Carolina

AECOM has a Stormwater Engineer / Project Manager position available in Morrisville, or Raleigh, NC. In this role the employee will provide project/task management and client service interaction on a variety of stormwater and water resources engineering projects.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:
Planning, designing, regulatory compliance and permitting on current and future projects in North Carolina and across the Mid-Atlantic Area. Projects will include stormwater management and watershed/water quality planning studies, stormwater facility (e.g., BMP, GI, LID practices) evaluation, design, and inspections.
Tasks may include providing engineering or scientific support for field investigations, feasibility studies, design documentation and construction inspection phases of projects including report writing and field data collection.
Develop (scope, fee, schedule) and effectively manage small to mid-sized stormwater and water resources engineering projects while meeting AECOMs key performance indicators and metrics. Follow and implement AECOMs quality management protocols and health and safety standards in project execution.
May act as Deputy Project Manager or Task Manager with other Senior Staff on larger multi-disciplinary multi-year contracts.
Lead or support the design efforts for a variety of water resources engineering projects. Prepare construction documents, engineering reports, and research basic data and scientific documents regarding stormwater, water quality, watershed management, and best management practices.
Lead and perform hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling, and geospatial evaluations.
Lead and perform watershed and water quality assessments and conventional aspects of watershed planning and BMP prioritization.
Prepare written and graphic reports and make presentations to internal staff, clients, and other regulatory groups.
Support the development of proposals in response to RFQs.
Interest in business development with private, local, state, and federal clients.
Support training and mentoring of junior staff.
Bachelors degree in Engineering required
4+ years of relevant water resources or related experience
Registered EIT / FE required
Pre-employment motor vehicle driving record verification will be performed
Must have a valid United States driver's license
Some Travel may be required within the region (up to 25% )
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
Prefer Bachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, Biological or Agricultural Engineering
6+ years of relevant water resources or related experience
Highly desired, North Carolina PE license or active PE license with capability of reciprocity
