Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Estimating Lead to be based in Sacramento, CA .

JOB SUMMARY:

In this role, you'll prepare cost estimates on Rail/Transit Projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages the cost estimating group in the development of all capital cost estimates for the clients from planning conceptual level to final design and construction cost estimates.

• Facilitates the development of information used to develop cost estimates with all internal and external stakeholders.

• Supports the development of the bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, Program Baselines and Project Update Reports.

• Supports the review of Contractor estimates and claims.

• Develop policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimating.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of all design and construction disciplines means, and methods used on transit infrastructure work in general.

• Experience in database driven estimating software (Timberline, Heavy Bid, etc.) as well as electronic quantity surveying systems.

• Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of estimating.

• Mega program experience

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Science/Management or Quantity Surveying

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $150,000.00 - $210,000.00.
