Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced part-time variable Project Manager to support a Deferred Maintenance Project (DMP) . The DMP is focused on the cleaning, CCTV inspection, evaluation, and preparation of rehabilitation alternatives for 1240 gravity drainpipes penetrating through system levee structures within California's Central Valley.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
CCTV Inspections & Rehabilitation Support : Provide field support for contractors conducting CCTV inspections and performing Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) lining rehabilitation work on the gravity drainpipes.
Condition Evaluation & Rehabilitation Planning : Oversee evaluation of the condition of the pipes and formulate rehabilitation alternatives. Your team will be responsible for recommending effective solutions and ensuring the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for pipe replacement projects.
Construction Engineering Support : Oversee construction engineering efforts and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that the rehabilitation activities are executed according to the approved plans and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage A&E consultants working on the Deferred Maintenance Project (DMP).
Ensure consultants provide high-quality field support for CCTV inspections and CIPP lining rehabilitation work.
Evaluate the condition of gravity drainpipes and develop rehabilitation alternatives.
Prepare detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for pipe replacement projects.
Provide construction engineering support throughout the execution of the project.
Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and project requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience in managing A&E consultants and overseeing complex infrastructure projects, particularly related to drainage systems and levee structures.
Proven experience in managing CCTV inspections and CIPP rehabilitation processes.
Strong knowledge of pipeline condition evaluation, rehabilitation alternatives, and construction engineering.
Ability to develop and evaluate project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Familiarity with construction and safety standards, as well as relevant state and federal regulations.
Additional Information
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $80.00/hour - $120.00/hour.
