Job Summary

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Responsible for setting own project deadlines.

  • Provides on the job training to new employees.

  • Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.

  • Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.

  • Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.

  • Tracks quality assurance progress.

  • Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Acquire or maintain appropriate UDOT training certificates (paid for by AECOM)

  • Document construction activities on a daily basis.

  • Perform field material testing and sampling in accordance with UDOT standards.

Minimum Requirements

High school education or equivalent

  • 2+ years of construction inspection and testing experience

  • Proficient using PDBS, Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Must have a valid driver's license

  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

  • this position does not include sponsorship for US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

SRDT, ACI, IQP, Partnering, or any materials lab certificates are desirable

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
