AECOM Lead Inspector in Salt Lake City, Utah

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
Provides on the job training to new employees.
Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
Tracks quality assurance progress.
Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Acquire or maintain appropriate UDOT training certificates (paid for by AECOM)
Document construction activities on a daily basis.
Perform field material testing and sampling in accordance with UDOT standards.
High school education or equivalent
2+ years of construction inspection and testing experience
Proficient using PDBS, Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have a valid driver's license
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
this position does not include sponsorship for US work authorization
SRDT, ACI, IQP, Partnering, or any materials lab certificates are desirable
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
