AECOM Sr. Transportation Project Manager in San Antonio, Texas

Job Summary/Responsibilities
Directs and managers the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must have a clean driving record and be able to clear a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE)
Experience designing highway/roadway systems, drainage systems, and traffic control plans
Experience managing multidisciplinary project with subconsultants
Experience with design software including MicroStation and GEOPAK and/or OpenRoads
Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project) is required
15 + years of previous design experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E)
TxDOT Pre-certifications (Schematic Development, Roadway Design, Freeway Interchanges, Bridge Design, Multi-Level Interchange Design, Bridge Class Culverts, Signing & Pavement Markings, Illumination, Rail-Highway Design, Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities, Hydraulic Design, Environmental Studies, and Transportation System Planning)
Experience with Business Development/Client Relations
Experience with TxDOT proposals and interviews
Proven experience of success with TxDOT pursuits
Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development
Good communication skills and ability to manage a team
