The job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Prepare program budget, expenditure, and forecast analyses including fiscal year budget estimates, cash flows, and burn rate analyses.
Collaborate with project controls team to implement and ensure adherence to program cost control processes.
Routinely maintain the program cost management database (PRISM) including project budget, commitment, cost, and change management data.
Support the project change management and trend management processes and contingency tracking.
Prepare and develop accurate and timely program reports and presentations to management and funding partners.
Manage contract and work directive life cycle from vendor cost proposal review, purchase order setup, invoice audit and payment, and closeout.
Support on the tracking of project funding plan and grant administration.
Perform monthly variance analyses evaluating program incurred costs vs budget projections.
- BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience with federally funded projects
Experience with PRISM cost management database
Familiarity of FTA SCC Cost Category reporting
Understanding of cost management process and procedures for multi-billion dollar project.
Understanding of Work Breakdown Structure and project coding structures.
Experience establishing and updating project budgets.
Capable of analyzing cost variances against established budgets and overtime.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with PeopleSoft financial system or comparable enterprise system.
Demonstrated problem solving ability in cross-functional environment.
Open-minded, collaborative, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
Strong work ethic and detail oriented.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
