Job Summary:
The Project Manager will join our expanding civil design construction Water Group. This position may include client management with municipal contracts. Responsible for client/project development, resource management, and supervision of construction activities as they relate to contract administration and management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management. Responsible for overall project performance including job profit and loss for Construction projects.
Plans, schedules, and coordinates projects to repair, alter and renovate building structure and installed equipment, and supervise a multi-disciplined construction workforce performing work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Projects may include water system master plans, hydraulic distribution system modeling, water audits, water quality studies, disinfection, water supply sustainability, water systems design (water treatment plants, pump stations, etc.), energy evaluations, water main replacement analysis, water vulnerability and emergency response, and Safe Drinking Water Program audits.
Projects may include water and/or waste water treatment facilities, combined sewer overflow facilities, sanitary sewer stations, booster pump stations, transmission and/or distribution mains.
Job duties include but aren't limited to:
Supports overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
Position may have significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Two (2) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction related field.
6+ years of Municipal Water and/or Wastewater project experience
Experience in the evaluation, planning, design and construction of one or more of the following projects:
Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pump Stations, Water, Sewer, Stormwater and/or Lift Stations
Experience with developing proposals, schedules, and budgets
Interest and demonstrated skills in marketing, presentations and client interaction
Professional Certification (CCM,PMP) or Professional Engineering License (PE)
