AECOM has a great opportunity for an
Electrical Engineer in Springfield, VA. This is a O&M program for a mission critical customer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the facilities operation and maintenance services to include construction, power generation, warehousing, transportation systems, environmental health and safety, security, as well as all aspects of maintaining and repairing the site and its ancillary buildings. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management, oversight and planning for engineering design, procurement, and construction or modifications to the installation that affect the performance of critical mission systems. The selected candidate will approve and manage red line drawing, SOW’s and ROM’s for proposed engineering solutions and modifications to the installation. The System Engineer is responsible for the successful operation and planning associated with program related configuration management, project/construction management, recapitalization planning and engineering related functions. The selected candidate will be comfortable with working with tradesmen of all disciplines to troubleshoot and resolve system and facility issues.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Ability to engineer and design an electrical system from generation to rack mounted equipment.
Must have a thorough understanding of SCADA, BAS and CMMS systems.
Minimum of 5 years of experience which shall include mechanical and electrical systems, working with the government, working in a secure atmosphere, experience in data centers (power and cooling), configuration management experience and knowledge and experience with SIEMENS and Lutron systems.
Must be able to design packages and be a self-contained engineer.
Experience with instrumental control.
Must have native-like fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Professional licensed engineer (PE) in Electrical in Commonwealth of VA or able to obtain.
Experience with preventive maintenance planning
Active, fully adjudicated TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
Prior DOD Facilities experience is a plus.
Knowledge and experience with CMMS systems is preferred.
PMP or CFM preferred
