Job Summary

The Environment Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Management Assistant (PMA) for immediate employment in our St. Louis, MO office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The qualified participant will need to be able to demonstrate dependable, quality service. The selected candidate will provide support to the Environmental Business for related environmental services in the oil and gas market sector.

As a Project Management Assistant, you will provide support for the project team in key administrative and operational areas including data entry, document production, information tracking, invoicing, reporting, and general office operations.

Specific duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist program, project, and task managers, and field personnel in the coordination of project deliverables and project schedules

  • Provide MS SharePoint and Office software support (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)

  • Monitor and communicate project performance with project managers, accountants, and others

  • Complete quality review checks by reviewing, formatting ,and revising reports and monitoring completion of quality forms

  • Prepare notes for project meetings

  • Manage, submit, and report health and safety observations and incidents

  • Organize and manage project electronic and paper files

Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide general administrative support to professional and technical staff

  • Provide support with data entry and reporting

  • Ensure all work products are of high quality

  • Coordinate project mailings and submittals

  • Proficiency with internet search engines, electronic mail systems, spreadsheet and word processing applications

  • Works well in a team environment

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • Listens and communicates effectively

  • Demonstrates initiative

  • Ability to multitask

  • Adapts quickly to new tasks

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or demonstrated equivalent

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • Previous experience providing project-related financial support, i.e.: invoicing, purchase orders, change orders, and cost and budget tracking

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills to include: linking between spreadsheets, conditional formatting, and “If” functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SharePoint experience preferred

  • 5+ years' experience preferred

  • Associates Degree

Additional Information:

  • Per diem & relocation support are not available for this position

  • Ability to travel to project site location 5% of the time.
