AECOM CEI Senior Inspector in Tallahassee, Florida

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, a highly talented Senior CEI Inspector employment in the Tampa Bay and Sarasota, Florida area. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in performing Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) for highway and bridge construction projects. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects. The incumbent can look forward to projects including various assignments for the Department of Transportation and local municipalities throughout Southwest Florida.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, making, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors

  • Work is performed under the general supervision of the CEI Project Administrator and/or CEI Senior Project Engineer

Minimum Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Four (4) years of experience in construction inspection, two (2) year of which shall have been in bridge and/or roadway construction inspection or demonstrated an equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities, and experience

  • CTQP Paving Level certification

  • Asphalt paving experience

  • Must possess a valid driver's license

  • FDEP Stormwater Inspector Certification
