Job Summary

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Executing technical tasks involving air quality and other environmental regulatory compliance services including regulatory research, compliance planning, creating spreadsheets, and compiling and writing reports and other documents

  • Successfully executing environmental permitting and compliance tasks or small projects while meeting cost, schedule, safety, and quality objectives

  • Interacting with clients to communicate regulatory requirements, refine compliance strategies, and develop business

  • Promoting and demonstrating a positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Conducting internal technical reviews and detail checks

  • Interfacing with regulators and negotiate favorable permit conditions

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering/science, chemical engineering, or related engineering/scientific field

  • 5+ years of relevant environmental experience that includes air permitting and environmental compliance support, including at least 2 years’ experience in an industrial or consulting setting

  • Experience calculating air emissions from a variety of source types

  • Experience preparing permit applications and compliance plans

  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills, strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

  • Proficient use of PC- based applications (MS Word and Excel)

  • Valid driver’s license
