Job Summary

  • This candidate will be part of the team who will test the new patches, firmware, updates and settings on servers and custom mission support equipment on East Coast Combined Tactical Training Ranges. The ideal candidate would be able to work with geographically dispersed team environment responsible for the management of diverse, complex, and ever changing DoD networks.

  • This position will require the candidate to research and stay current with Navy and DISA policies and directives pertaining to network and system security.

  • Supports Network and System Vulnerability Assessment and Re-mediation, Backups and Disaster Recovery plans. Must work well with network, server and cyber security personnel to interpret the Navy’s requirements translating them into current CTTR topology.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of Security design experience, or at least 10 years of cyber security in combination with IT Training, IT Certifications and progressively relevant work experience

  • Requires an advanced skill level in the computer security field, responsible for developing the information security policies, standards, and procedures and managing their implementation across an organization.

  • Enterprise security, risk management, research and analysis, and the integration of computing, communications, and business disciplines.

  • Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the following areas:

  • Implementing and maintaining Enterprise Level Microsoft Domain infrastructure

  • Extensive experience with cyber security compliance and reporting tools and concepts such as: ACAS, HBSS, VRAM, eMASS

  • Must have a strong grasp of computer system security to include Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security technical Implementation Guides (STIG)

  • Backups and Disaster Recovery systems.

  • Must maintain DoD 8570.1/ 8140 certification requirements for IAT-II (Security +, CCNA-Security, etc.)

  • Must possess and maintain a DoD Secret level Security Clearance and a valid state issued driver's license
