AECOM Amphibious Mission Lead in Washington, District Of Columbia

AECOM is seeking an experienced professional with Mission System experience on Navy Amphibious ships to serve as the Amphibious Mission Lead in support of the U.S. Navy’s PMS 317 Program Office. Position requires knowledge of all aspects of the U.S Marine Corps mission onboard amphibious ships. Also requires the ability to lead and manage the technical analysis in the areas of amphibious mission system operations and certifications, such as well deck, vehicle stowage, cranes and elevators, and boat handling.
Vocational/technical training beyond high school
15 years of related experience in a Navy or Marine Corp program
Extensive prior military service operational experience or extensive military ship Detail Design and Construction experience and military ship familiarization.
Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to travel periodically anywhere in the US
Knowledge of Amphibious Transport Dock (LPD 17) and Amphibious Replacement (LX(R)) ships
