Job Summary

AECOM is looking for a Program Analyst to provide program management in support of all ongoing Program Office engineering [Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E); Combat Systems; Non-Propulsion Electronic Systems (NPES)], logistics and financial management efforts as required by Program Offices. Team Submarine provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the design, acquisition, maintenance, and support of the World’s finest submarine force. It fosters accurate decision making via more and higher-fidelity information on the multifaceted challenges that arise through translating Washington directives into Fleet implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and “configuration management” of the overall program plans, approach, and objectives by supporting the development and maintenance of program briefings.

  • Support in development of strategies to evolving program requirements by collecting and analyzing data, preparing outlines, and assisting in development and preparation of status, information, and decision briefings.

  • Assist in the development and preparation of issue papers, point papers, presentations, and study reports.

  • Assist in the review of total program risk and opportunities assessments, monitor programs, and provide input and recommendations on risk mitigations to the Program Office.

  • Implement and maintain an information system for control of all Program Office documentation.

  • Assist with contract performance evaluation and administration. Integrate and coordinate the Program Office contract operations, assist the Government in monitoring and assessing contract impact due to contract modifications, and assist the Government in the contract modification process.

  • Assist in the review of cost, schedule, and performance parameters and compare their current estimate to the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB) during major budget development exercises.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related field and at least one year of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance, which requires US citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. DOD/Navy acquisition and/or In-Service experience.

  2. Experience working with Navy programs.

  3. Self-motivated, possess analytical skills and be customer-oriented.

  4. Effective communication, both verbal and written.

  5. Familiarity with computer hardware and software; proficiency in MS Office Suite
